About STM For Rear Entertainment
The integration to the vehicle headrest is as seamless as that of the dashboard. However STM for rear entertaiment is not yet available. Our website and other platforms will be updated as soon as there is a launch date for the seamless rear tablet mount.


The video shows a mount being used on porcelain tile, which happens to have a high surface energy. The mount has a 1 mm thick nano acrylic adhesive.
Note: The mount can easily be removed from any surface, including cars’ headunit by using the proper shear force technique.
Although primarily designed for automobiles, STM can be used indoors and outdoors if mounted on medium to high-energy surfaces, which bond well with double-sided adhesive. Suitable adhesives include the 3M 5000 series (such as 5952) or any acrylic nano tape. Surface energy depends both on the material and its treatment; for example, anodized aluminium generally has high surface energy and adheres well to most double-sided adhesives. However, powder-coated aluminium shifts to low or medium surface energy, making it incompatible with clear acrylic nano tape but still suitable for 3M 5952. Don’t assume STM will work in any indoor area. Test by attaching an approximately 1.7 x 2 inch piece of aluminium with either adhesive to your intended mounting surface and gently pull it. If it detaches easily, STM likely won’t work there.
